A Cultural Celebration to help the families affected by the earthquake in Chile. Organized by the Chilean-Canadian community of Kingston KINGSTON HELPS CHILE AFTER THE 8.8 EARTHQUAKE. Saturday, MAY 8 FROM 10 AM TO 5 PM @ THE MANSION**** Hundreds of families lost all they had. While many are living in tent camps in the hills, the Winter is also arriving. Un techo para Chile, an NGO organization has acted fast and even before the government, built safe portable permanent houses for those in need, fast and in direct contact with the victims. The Kingston Canadian and Chilean groups organizing this event will be sending the funds from the event direct to this organization -so more people in need from 3 provinces will have a home soon before the difficult rainy Winter can affect further more their lives.
